Writing as Process
Reflection
I began this process of reworking a research paper in a contemporary politics course that I took. This was by far the most interesting paper I have created for academic purposes so I really wanted to spend more time with it and see where it could go.
This project involved taking a piece of writing and repurposing it for a different audience. I chose to create a website because I think one of the problems with the changing health insurance system is that the public knowledge surrounding it is very low. A website is an effective and entertaining way of providing knowledge to large groups of people.
The second step of the process was to remediate the project in a different forum. Many people created videos, and I chose to do a billboard ad campaign. I created ads to put around a city that were intriguing enough to get people to go to the HealthCare.gov and learn more.
